pulsar tech gear watches is a great watch. Yes, the bracelet and case is not black like the face. Depending on the light, it can look anywhere from gunmetal to dark gray to dark brown. But it's classy and I think better than pure black. Also because it's ion plated and not painted, the coating is very durable and won't scratch or flake off. I have several other Seiko watches and this is in every way equal in quality. Seiko makes Pulsar but they didn't compromise on the materials or design on this model. I'm very happy with this purchase.
